The Centre's picnic area has spectacular views of the mountains. The Village Monument is a large sculpture of a mountain with local wildlife standing on its ledges. A picnic area is nearby. There are several interesting local churches, including St. Christopher's Anglican Church on the Alaska Highway which is an eight sided log church designed and built by a local craftsman. Visitors can also enjoy several annual events including a music festival and a road relay.
